The barrel vault feature at the front of the house was added today. I don’t think that they did anything else because we had a lot of rain and a few thunder storms.
Looks like it is a pre-cut piece that they have to order. From looking at the pictures, and in person, the wood appears to be a thick piece of maple. Whatever species of wood it is, it looks quiet strong.
