I have obtained all the parts needed to do the 7730 ECM swap and the DIS (distributor-less ignition system, ie: digital ignition).
The 7730 ECM is far superior to the standard Fiero ECM. The 7730 ECM updates 10 times a second, while the Fiero ECM updates every 1.5 seconds.
The main benefit from upgrading to the 7730 ECM is the tuning options – you can burn custom chips to tune your car properly. You can also tune out the EGR valve and the cold start injector.
The DIS swap doesn’t need to be done when you swap ECMs, but it makes sense to do it at the same time.

These ECM changes, I think what you have out here is great. I have thought can a newer transmission be used with these newer ECM,
