I have been thinking about doing this conversion for over 5 years now. I have a 1986 Fiero SE notchback. I like the notchbacks, don’t get me wrong. But the fastbacks look more like a Ferrari in my opinion. More sporty. I think it would look HOT in my gold colour. In some colours however, the notchback looks far better than the fastback – again, in my humble opinion
I don’t know if I’ll do the conversion – I’m just testing the waters right now, on some of the forums, for pricing on all the parts. Most likely I’ll end up with parts that are NOT the same gold colour, …but that would force me to get a new paint job so they match :)
