I bought this stuff called Plastic Metal, made by Bondo. Basically it is liquid metal and epoxy mixed together – it seems to be far stronger than regular body filler.
It works great, dries fast, and it is easy to work with. I used it to smooth out any imperfections from welding in the new plate.
